Course setup: The course is hosted on our elearning plaform on which you will find a day by day course schedule. Each day consistes of live and interactive virtual classrooms with a teacher mixed with knowledge and video clips and hands-on tutorials. Except for the first day of the course, all days start with a Q&A (recap) session about learning materials of the previous day.
Some hands-on are Bioinformatics oriented and include some minor low-level programming assignments. A background in programming is not required! These hands-on mainly serve as further in depth explanation of the techniques you commonly use in proteomics.
Exam: This course is a 1.5 EC (one week) full-time course. To be able to obtain a grade you need to take the exam which is an (home) assignement for which you will get one month to complete. The exam also adds an additional 1.5 EC to the course.
– For master students taking the assignment is obligatory.
